Zebra Border
My 14 year old daughter requested I paint a zebra striped border around the tops of her bedroom walls. It was fun to do; I just started with one stripe next to another with no preplanning. It felt almost like East Asian brush painting since I had to think more about maintaining smooth brushstrokes and less about precision. Ken Tighe's junk yard painting
I had to share a coincedence I came across yesterday. I was admiring the paintings of Ken Tighe. He went to the Skowhegan School of Painting and Sculpture, University of Pennsylvania and Massachusetts College of Art, and since 1986 he has been teaching at the Walnut Hill School in Natick, MA.
