Very bold. I like the way in which this simplifies the scene into nearly geometric forms.

In my classes, I talk about a "constructive "model of drawing, in which you see forms as built from basic shapes. This is an excellent example of that principle.

I love the light on the rocks---deftly executed and very effective. I admire the bare wisp of a curved brush-stroke suggesting sailboats on the horizon.....poetic. As a writer/reviewer I am always encouraging writers to employ an "economy of language", that is, using the least but most impact-ful words to convey their message. You have done that with this work; the information is presented with an expertise of technique which keeps the viewer fully engaged in the work. It is lovely and makes me want to go there.
