East side of Providence has some interesting sites.

Hi Susan,

RI is full of wonderful places to photograph. One of my favorite (safe) places is Goddard Park in East Greenwich. Portsmouth Glen is great, and Ocean Drive is fabulous anytime, but especially at sunset. Cliff walk is also a good photo shoot. And Providence bus station if you like street people, although may not be as safe as you might like. Bring a friend.

Sue: I live in Warren and have been doing this for years. I spend a lot of time in the East Bay with my camera. Actually I find it hard some time to get out of the East Bay when I go out to shoot because I always find things close to home. Bristol, Warren, and Barrington waterfronts can always be counted on to produce interesting subject matter. One of my favorite trips out of Bristol County RI is to neighboring Bristol County MA. Tiverton, Little Compton, Adamsville, Westport, and Dartmouth boast large seaside farms, a large number of nature preserves, beaches and photo ops limited only by your imagination. If you go on a weekday you'll have the place pretty much to yourself. If you have any questions you can contact me.
