Here is a resource that anyone involved in education should be aware of.

This organization has a plenitude of materials that have been donated by Rhode Island businesses. This includes packaging, jewelry findings, paper, cloth, foam, cardboard, wood scraps and printed material, just to name a few items. With a yearly membership, you can visit their warehouse and pay by the pound to get a wide variety of things that can be used for any number of projects.

If like me, you regularly teach classes that involve building or crafting, you will find this to be an absolute treasure house.
