Special Presentation by Onne van der Wal

Join award-winning nautical photographer Onne van der Wal for a slideshow on his five-week sailing adventure aboard the yacht 'Shaman' to the remote sub-Antarctic island of South Georgia at 55 degrees south latitude (900 miles due east of Cape Horn).

In addition to his visit to South Georgia, Onne will also present slides of recent assignments and yachting regattas, many of them being shown for the first time in public.

This special presentation by a world renowned Canon Explorer of Light is sponsored by Canon and presented as a joint collaboration between the Newport PhotoGuild and the Wickford Art Association Photographic Arts Group.

This is a rare opportunity and we look forward to a large turn out.

Free and open to the public (bring friends!).
