Controlling Email
Too many emails from createrhodeisland .com?
Click the "My Settings" link in the right column or Your Page. Click the "Email" tab.
You can choose whether or not you receive notifications when you have new friend requests, when you have new messages, when people you invite join the network, when your stuff is commented on, rated, or made a favorite, or when you have new content to approve.
Don't want email notifications?
Click the button "Stop my follow list" and check "None: I don't want to receive emails from createrhodeisland.com. Don't forget to click 'Save'!
Don't want to receive messages or friend requests from a certain person?
If you don't want to receive messages or friend requests from someone, you can block them. To do this, click on the "Messages" link that appears at the top of My Page, the thin colored strip at the top of createrhoderhodeisland.com. Find a message from the person you want to block and click on it. At the bottom of the page, click the "Block messages from this person" link.
Are you getting spam?
It's unlikely to happen, but if someone is sending you spam on createrhoderhodeisland.com, the first thing to do is to block that person from sending you messages. You can do this by clicking on the Envelope icon in the on My Page. Find the spam message in your inbox and click the link that says "Block messages from this person." You will not receive messages from this person any more.
Someone put a photo or video of you without asking! ?
Click the "Report an Issue" link at the bottom of the page to alert meand I'll take the content down.
