About Me:
Photographers Profile:

Duane V. Gamble, a Commercial, Stock, Environmental and Fine Art Photographer. He considers himself an Artist using Photography and Alternative Print Making as his chosen mediums of expression. His work features the environmental landscape, shoreline, gardening, antiques and architectural details of structures. His photographs reflect his passion for preserving landscape views, and historical icons for future generations to enjoy. He uses 35mm, 2 1/4, 4 X 5 and Panoramic format cameras. All of his photographs are planned and executed under his technical supervision; in the studio or on location . His ability to be patient and work through complex situations while waiting for the decisive moment to trip the camera shutter in the field, has been compared to Ansel Adams by one of his past photographic mentors.

Duane is an Elected Artist Member of the Mystic Arts Center (formerly called the Mystic Art Association), Mystic, CT., also a member of the Windham Arts Collaborative, Willimantic, CT and a member of The American Society of Media Photographers (ASMP).

His fine art photographs can be seen at http://artid.com/members/cameraman28 http://www.creativephotoproducts.etsy.com

A selection of his fine art photographs have been published as Note Cards, Puzzles, Refrigerator Magnets, Tee Shirts, Sweat Shirts,Tote Bags and Framed Prints by his publishing company, Creative Photo Products.

In December 2006, Duane published his first book, an informational resource book for visual artisans and creative professionals titled, The Visual Arts Resource Manual. If you are just starting out to sell your Art, Photographs, Crafts or Handmade Goods, this book will help you find all of the materials, equipment, packaging and business resources to help you become a productive business. My book will also be valuable aide to established Artists, Photographers, Crafts persons and Creative Professionals. I wrote my book to help others who want to sell, present and market their creative art products. Each artist learns from trial and error. That takes a lot of time. My book can shorten that time span by offering qualified products and services for the visual professional. With the purchase of my book, I also offer some free coaching with finding resources or career advise. My book is for the Do-It-Yourselfer Artist.

It definitely is hard times. At the store and the art front. Things have to improve or all of us artists are going to become extinct! :)
