Over the past eight years I have been developing
the study of the Endomeq, a biomechanical species
with a distinctive culture. Through my sculpture, prints,
and stories, I hope to convey a sense of their history,
biology, personality and mythology.

These characters begin as sculptures made from
found materials. Once built, they are then recreated
in a 3D computer environment as fully realized virtual
models that can be textured, posed, and animated to
create stories and still images.

Through my prints, I have worked to create a series of portraits that evoke the rich and dynamic character of the many heroes, villains, and supporting characters that make
up the mythology of First Gear: Territories ®.

This was the pay-off for not watching where I was going. When in the city it's amazing what you can find if you look up once in a while.

Hey Kryzsztof!

Looks like you're doing a great job of running this network -- a bunch of new people just joined! You should join http://creators.ning.com, which is the Ning Network for people who run and create Ning Networks. It's a really good resource.

Hey Krzsztof!

Ken told me that you're running the network these days. I just wanted to say that if you need any help, I work for Ning and would be happy to assist you with anything. Just let me know!

Krzysztof-I like those too. I have worked in styrofoam sculpting and then covering them with laytex paint in the 70s. It is a bit messy but is is so easy to carve. I would like to do it again but the time is not always cooperative. Nice Work

Krzysztof-I really love these sculptures. They have their own personality, and it's amazing to see. I'm a big fan of miniature work in films and whatnot. In 2004, I got to visit Weta Workshop in New Zealand-got an "invite" from Richard Taylor-and they showed me some really amazing stuff. Everything is done with this carved styrene foam-some are quite large. It's shaped, chopped, glued and then, covered in polystone and carved, and painted. It's how many of the miniatures for LORD OF THE RINGS and KING KONG(2005) were done. Miniatures are still made for movies but now, combined with digital work to matte them in and put figures onto them.

There's something about holding a model in your hand that's itself, very gratifying. I have so many unbuilt kits it's kind of scary. I want to get back into 3-D as well, I like doing it when, I am doing it!

Thanks for the welcome.
Got an invite to this site from someone, I don't know who. It's a well put together place on the web, and I can't get over the over all quality of the art here.

Absolutely. I think you've hit it right on the head there.

One of the real values is that this space far better works with the basic fact that many of us have various challenges of time constraints in the physical world, and thus it means that we do not need to travel on a particular day or evening in order to be in touch with others. That is very significant.

I also think that a real virtue of this space is that it allows one to get a sample of others work at a moment's notice. While this certainly does not replace seeing the work in the real world, it means that people no longer have to say "My work? Well, it was on display at the _______ gallery two months ago...In Fall River, in a large group show...But I don't have anything currently up..."

I am definitely excited by the possibilities of this space.

It's good to hear from you!
