all this work is great. this piece is adorable and i especially love the classic sculpture pieces. i really like to do still life and portraits myself.

- About Me:
- I have a degree in Film and Animation from the Rhode Island School of Design. After 5 years working in computer animation, I realized that what I really love is creating things the old fashioned way; by hand. I began leaning away from today's computer technology, and towards an art that has existed for thousands of years; woodburning. I enjoy subjects that have a curious story to them, such as antique photographs and historical places. I am currently working towards marrying my artwork with furniture making, while continuing with my antique theme.

- i am glad i will be able to see the original woodburning pieces. the drawing is superb. i also love to work and have worked in traditional mediums such as charcoal, encaustic , egg tempera (with Flemish oil glazes), oils w/Netherlandish mediums, gilding with traditional Gesso wood supports. i have been doing pastels for convenience (sitting galleries, economics, etc.) lately; but will get back to traditional mediums this summer with several planned historical and surreal projects and i am teaching a class at the Portsmouth Arts Guild this Spring and the Summer session on making and techniques using these Ancient and Medieval mediums.
