Rhode Island artist and educator Krzysztof Mathews is proud to announce his new show First Gear: Infrastructure. This show will be an exhibition of original found object sculpture, and large format inkjet prints based on his 3D virtual art, all part of the larger mythology of the First Gear Territories® universe.

First Gear Territiories® is an extended science fiction narrative that concerns the adventures and culture of a race of fictional living machines known as the Endomeq. These beings live in a feudal society comprised of various tribes, kingdoms, and territories. In his show Infrastructure, Krzysztof Mathews has further expanded upon the specific tools, resources, structures, and technologies of the landscape and environments that support these societies.

This show takes place at the Robert L. Carothers Library and Learning Commons at 15 Lippitt Road Kingston, RI 02881-2011. This exhibition runs from February 7- March 27, 2010, and the opening is scheduled for Wednesday, February 10 from 7:00 to 9:00 PM.
